(Booth 1917) Digital radiography (DR) developer CMT Medical Technologies of Yoqneam, Israel, will showcase new features for its digital radiography SmartRad and radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) and angiography SmartSpot PrimaX systems.
DuoRad is a new work-in-progress imaging technique for the SmartRad system line that allows users to obtain dual-energy images in a single x-ray exposure, via a combined DR and CR technique that reduces dose and motion artifacts, the company said. DuoRad can distinguish between soft tissues and bones in the same image, detect calcified lung nodules, visualize urinary tract stones, detect small bone fractures, and check bone mineral density for osteoporosis.
CMT will also display its work-in-progress SmartSpot PrimaX FPD-43, a digital R/F and angiography system for the SmartSpot PrimaX line based on the Pixium 4343 flat-panel detector from Trixell of Moirans, France.
