Ultrasound and x-ray equipment firm Echoserve of Golden, CO, has signed a deal to distribute a prone stereotactic breast biopsy table developed by Linear Medical of Westminster, CO.
Echoserve will be the preferred distributor and service provider for Linear's MammoTest Flx table within the U.S., and it will be the exclusive manufacturer of the Elite Cesium digital camera used in the system's imaging chain.
MammoTest Flx provides flexible movement within a room via modified wheel bases, control handles located underneath the table and out of the patient's way, easy-access connection cables, and new software versions. The table's design reduces procedure time and improves patient comfort by eliminating steps from targeting to biopsy, while its Elite Cesium camera provides up to 70% higher contrast resolution than standard cameras, according to the company.
