Quantum inks Ohio contract

Radiography equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has installed its Q-Rad-Digital DRX series system at the Center for Orthopedics in Sheffield.

This digital radiography system installation includes Quantum's QV-800 universal imaging system with a single Carestream DRX-1 wireless detector and image processing. It also includes a bucky with a rotating tray feature, as well as Quantum's TechVision feature, which allows for generator control and preview image viewing on the x-ray tube head, the company said.

Quantum dealer Centura X-Ray of Cleveland facilitated the sale and installation.
