Carestream reaches Vita CR milestone

Carestream Health has shipped its 1,000th DirectView Vita computed radiography (CR) system.

Launched in October 2010, Vita is designed for independent imaging centers, clinics, multiphysician offices, and chiropractic and veterinary facilities.

The system weighs 79 lb and is built to be smaller and lighter than other tabletop CR products.
