Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has added endoscopy equipment provider Fujinon as an integrated division within the diagnostic imaging and medical informatics company.
The integration of Fujinon is designed to strengthen and diversify the firm's overall medical product line, as well as streamline and enhance business efficiencies, according to Fuji. Fujinon had previously operated as a subsidiary.
The Fujinon brand will remain in place, Fuji said. Its products include the high-resolution CCD Super Image flexible video endoscope and the Double Balloon endoscopy system.
