Carestream signs Beth Israel Deaconess

Carestream Health has sold four DRX-Revolution Mobile x-ray systems to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

The systems will be used in multiple intensive care units that serve trauma, cardiac, surgical, and other critical care patients, according to the vendor.

The purchases are part of the hospital's conversion from computed radiography (CR) to digital radiography (DR), Carestream said. Previously, the institution has installed two dual-detector DRX-Evolution suites in its level I trauma center and four DRX-Mobile Retrofit Kits to convert existing portable imaging systems to DR, Carestream said.
