Radiography equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has launched an upgrade to its DRive digital radiography (DR) hardware and software package.
The package now has generator integration with Quantum's radiographic systems, according to the firm. The generator is controlled via the DR console, freeing space in the technologist control booth. It also includes preprogrammed exposure techniques and patient size modifiers for each view selected on the DR console, Quantum said.
Users can buy a complete new radiographic system with x-ray generator integration, or previously installed Quantum-manufactured radiographic systems with Quantum generators can be upgraded, Quantum said.
