Radiography equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has completed an installation of its Q-Rad digital radiography (DR) system at a Chicago health center.
The Family Health Center at Oakwood Shores is a new outpatient center that is part of Mercy Hospital in Chicago. The new center will take over primary care services, pediatrics, and ob/gyn from the hospital, and it will provide new services such as digital mammography, x-ray, laboratory services, diabetes care, and a retail pharmacy.
The Q-Rad system installed includes Quantum's Q-Vision high-frequency generator, QS-550 floor-mounted tube stand, QT-750 float-top radiographic table, and QW-420-D Verti-Q wall stand, Quantum said.
Quantum is a division of Carestream Health. The sale and installation were facilitated by Radiation Services of Indiana.
