Konica Minolta Medical Imaging has installed a wireless digital radiography (DR) system at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln University Health Center.
The university replaced its computed radiography system with the company's wireless ImagePilot Aero all-in-one DR system.
ImagePilot Aero interfaces directly with the facility's PACS and electronic health record (EHR), Konica Minolta said. It also has a lithium-ion capacitor, which gives ImagePilot Aero a charge and discharge life significantly longer than a lithium ion battery, according to the company.
