Carestream wins Ga. DRX contract

Carestream Health has won a contract with a Georgia medical center for eight of its DRX digital radiography (DR) systems.

WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta installed three Carestream DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray units, two Carestream DRX-1 systems, and three Carestream DRX-Mobile retrofit kits. The facility is now delivering up to 50% lower dose for neonatal and pediatric patients and up to 30% lower dose for adult patients, according to Carestream.
