Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems achieved a double-digit gain in revenue in its fiscal third quarter (end-September 30).
Worldwide revenue increased 14% to $179.3 million, compared with $156.9 million in the third quarter of 2016. However, the company posted a third-quarter net loss of $3.6 million, compared with net income of $973,000 in the same quarter of 2016.
For the nine-month period, the company's revenue grew 24% to $536 million, compared with $446.1 million in the same period of 2016. Merit's net income also rose to $20.7 million, compared with net income of $12.6 million in the same nine months last year.
