Medical imaging equipment supplier Clear Image Devices has introduced a new product designed to position patients during weight-bearing digital x-ray exams of the lower extremities.
The company's Multiview Positioning Platform is intended to help users acquire multiple weight-bearing views and can cut imaging times in half, according to the company. It includes four imaging-panel placement locations, enabling technologists to obtain lower-extremity views quickly and safely. Two grab bars provide patient stability, even for those patients with mobility issues.
Multiview Positioning Platform is designed to be compatible with virtually all digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems.
