Kubtec will debut new specimen tomo system at RSNA 2018

Digital x-ray firm Kubtec will unveil its Mozart Supra specimen tomosynthesis system at RSNA 2018 later this month in Chicago.

With Mozart Supra, surgeons and pathologists can view 3D images of specimens of all sizes, ranging from lymph nodes to solid organs and bone, according to the company. In addition to including augmented intelligence to help physicians interpret images, the system also supports voice activation for hands-free use in the operating room, Kubtec said.

Mozart Supra also comes with automagnification capability, the firm's Image Blender feature for combining optical and x-ray images into a single graduated image, and a high-definition optical camera.
