Mammography and x-ray firm Instrumentarium Imaging is now marketing flat-panel thin-film transistor displays for use with its mobile C-arms. The three-megapixel displays are available in 18-inch or 21-inch models, and offer improved visibility of fine bone and vessel structures, according to the Helsinki, Finland-based company. Instrumentarium believes that the new display option is beneficial in procedures such as neurovascular and cardiovascular surgery, as well as orthopedic, general vascular, and endoscopic imaging.
