AngioDynamics debuts new embolic material

E-Z-EM interventional subsidiary AngioDynamics has launched PVA Plus, an embolic material designed to improve the quality of microscopic particles used in embolization procedures. The consistency and uniform shape of the PVA Plus particles make delivery and accuracy easier for embolization, according to the Queensbury, NY-based vendor. The company believes that the PVA Plus particles will help minimize procedural complications such as clumping, delivery-catheter occlusion, and inaccurate particle delivery.
