SIR names new executive director

The Society of Interventional Radiology of Fairfax, VA, has named Peter Lauer as its new executive director. Lauer comes to SIR from the American Medical Association of Chicago, where he served in several executive positions, including executive director of the AMA’s American Medical Political Action Committee (AMPAC). He will formally assume his new duties at SIR on January 1.
