Interventional firm C.R. Bard said that it expects that 2005 first-quarter earnings will exceed its prior guidance.
The Murray Hills, NJ-based vendor said it now expects earnings per share excluding the impact of certain items to be above 70¢ per share, with an ongoing net sales increase in the range of 10% to 13% in constant currency. Bard had previously indicated it expected to earn between 65¢ and 66¢ per share for the quarter.
