Boston Scientific makes hurricane relief donation

Interventional device developer Boston Scientific said it was making a $500,000 donation to the American Red Cross to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The money is being directed to the Red Cross' Disaster Relief Fund, according to the Natick, MA-based firm.
