Interventional device developer BioSphere Medical of Rockland, MA, will launch its proprietary HepaSphere Microspheres, an embolic agent intended for the embolization of liver tumors, in Europe next month.
The product, which has received European Union CE Mark approval, was introduced to European interventional radiologists at the meeting of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe in Nice, France, earlier this month, BioSphere said.
HepaSphere Microspheres will be sold by the firm's direct sales force in France and through its network of distributors in the remaining countries of the European Union.
