Toshiba America Medical Systems has launched its Infinix CF-i/SP (single-plane) diagnostic and interventional cardiac imaging system.
The system, which is being demonstrated this week at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) annual meeting in Washington, DC, features a five-axis design that allows for shifting of the C-arm around the exam table for optimal angling, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor.
Infinix CF-i/SP is equipped with Toshiba's 8-inch cardiac flat-panel detector, which is mounted on a fifth axis that rotates exactly as the C-arm rotates to the side.
