Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Biologics Delivery Systems Group Cordis said it plans to build a 180,000-sq-ft manufacturing facility, a development laboratory, and a finished-goods testing center in Cashel, Ireland.
The new plant, expected to open in 2008, will produce products for the interventional cardiology market outside the U.S.
