Interventional technology firm Medtronic has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for its Endurant abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) stent graft system.
Delivered through catheters inserted into blood vessels in the groin, Endurant is designed to conform to a broad range of aortic anatomies, allowing physicians to offer endovascular aortic repair to more AAA patients, according to the Minneapolis-based firm.
