Canadian optical molecular imaging developer ART Advanced Research Technologies said that the Robert and Carol Weissman Cancer Center at Martin Memorial Health Systems in Stuart, FL, will be participating in a clinical trial of the vendor's SoftScan optical breast imaging system.
Three cancer centers in the U.S. are currently participating in the trial, with another expected to be added at a later date, according to the Saint-Laurent, Quebec-based firm. Four Canadian cancer centers are also participating in the study, which will run through the end of 2006.
