The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) has awarded Kimberly Kelly, Ph.D., from Boston's Massachusetts General Hospital a two-year grant. The $100,000 award will support Kelly's research on molecular imaging agents for the early detection of pancreatic cancer.
The AACR will present Kelly, and 18 other investigators, with the grants during its annual meeting next week in Los Angeles. This year, the Philadelphia-based ACCR will give out $1.3 million in grants and fellowships to U.S.-based cancer researchers.
