Drug discovery and life sciences product developer Caliper Life Sciences of Hopkinton, MA, has installed its 1000th IVIS preclinical optical imaging system.
The Center for Advanced Molecular Imaging at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, purchased Caliper's IVIS Spectrum for nanoparticle technology research that targets cancer tumors and monitors tumor progression and therapeutic response in living subjects, according to Caliper.
