Radiopharmaceutical provider Syncor International will become the exclusive distributor of FDG to group purchasing organization AmeriNet's participating providers, according to the companies. The FDG agreement was created as an amendment to the firms' existing radiopharmaceutical contract, which has been in place since 1997 and runs through 2002.
Along with the amendment, the companies added a three-year renewal option to the existing agreement. Syncor, of Woodland Hills, CA, receives approximately $25 million to $30 million in revenues from sales to members of St. Louis-based AmeriNet.
