Nuclear medicine products firm Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has signed a contract to deliver a Cyclone 30 cyclotron to the Indian Department of Atomic Energy.
The cyclotron will be used for the production of SPECT radioisotopes, such as thallium-201, according to the Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium firm. IBA estimates that the contract is worth between $6.5 million and $13 million.
