GE places PET/CT in Jacksonville

GE Healthcare said it has installed its Discovery ST PET/CT system at Premier PET Imaging of Jacksonville, a freestanding outpatient imaging facility in Jacksonville, FL.

The Duval County-based practice is in close proximity to a cyclotron facility, which will enable it to be the only outpatient medical imaging facility in Jacksonville offering N-13 ammonia cardiac PET perfusion studies, according to Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based GE.
