Gamma camera developer Gamma Medica-Ideas of Northridge, CA, has signed an exclusive technology license and commercialization agreement with the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
The company and Mayo will develop and commercialize a suite of technologies invented by a team of Mayo physicians and scientists, headed by Michael O'Connor, Ph.D.
Gamma Medica-Ideas plans to utilize the technology in conjunction with its LumaGem dual-head molecular breast imaging system to enhance the diagnosis of cancers in women with dense breasts.
