PET developer Naviscan of San Diego has won an installation of its positron emission mammography (PEM) device at a Texas imaging center.
Preferred Imaging of Dallas has installed Naviscan's PEM scanner into a new facility in Plano, according to Naviscan. Preferred Imaging owns and operates 11 private imaging centers in North Texas; the centers currently offer CT and MRI, as well as imaging for pain management treatment. With the addition of PEM, Preferred Imaging expands its offerings for breast cancer patients, according to Naviscan.
