Radioisotope manufacturer International Isotopes of Idaho Falls, ID, has formed a joint venture with RadQual of Weare, NH, with the companies jointly acquiring Technology Imaging Services (TIS) of Youngstown, OH.
TIS distributes products and services for nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, and PET imaging. In 2009, the company had gross revenue of approximately $6 million. The new joint venture will be called TI Services.
The transaction includes all of TIS' accounts receivable, as well as its customer database, office equipment, and inventory. RadQual and International Isotopes plan to rehire employees of TIS and continue business in the same manner as TIS.
