Russian company Rosatom soon will begin delivery of molybdenum-99 (Mo-99) to Canada.
Company head Sergei Kiriyenko said that the first shipment of the 10-year agreement is due this week, according to a report from the Voice of Russia news service. Mo-99 is produced at the Dimitrovgrad nuclear reactor research center. This will be the first time that Russia has exported Mo-99, the report said.
