Image reconstruction software developer Medic Vision Imaging Solutions has garnered U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its SafeCT-29 radiation dose reporting software.
SafeCT-29 can be added to any type of CT and PET/CT scanner to provide compliance with the Dose Check functionality required under the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) XR-29 Smart Dose standard, according to the vendor.
