A modest revenue increase wasn't enough to carry MRI vendor Fonar to profitability in its second quarter (end-December 31). The Melville, NY-based firm had revenues of $9.5 million, up 4.4% compared with the $9.1 million reported in the same period last year. The firm had a net loss of $2.7 million, compared with a net loss of $2.5 million in 1999.
