The NMR Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston has signed a five-year pact with Siemens Medical Systems of Iselin, NJ, to collaborate on advanced neurologic MR research.
Radiology, neurology, and psychiatry teams at the center will use Siemens' latest developments in 3-tesla engineering, gradient amplifier and coil technology, and multichannel high-bandwidth radio-frequency capability, according to Dr. Bruce R. Rosen, director of the MGH facility.
