MRI vendor Fonar reported fiscal second-quarter revenues of $11 million, up 10% from the $10 million posted in the same period last year. For the fiscal 2001 second quarter (end-December 31), the Melville, NY-based firm had a net loss of $3 million, compared with a net loss of $2.7 million in the fiscal second quarter of 2000.
Fonar continued to build its direct sales force in the second quarter and expects to significantly penetrate the MR market, according to president and chairman Raymond Damadian.
