A picture book designed to make MR exams a little less daunting for pediatric patients, The Power of the Magnet Manikins, is now available online at the Wilhem Maudrich Verlag Medical Bookstore.
The book was written by Gabi Salomonowitz a radiologic technologist at the Akademie der Universitatskliniken in Vienna, Austria. Salomonowitz said she was inspired to create the booklet after noticing that many patient-friendly MRI guides were still quite technical.
The book’s ISBN number is 3-851785-739-4. Available in English and German, it retails for 298 Austria Schillings, or approximately $20 (U.S.)
