NFL great helps score Fonar scanner sale

Former National Football League kicker Garo Yepremian helped MRI vendor Fonar land a sale to an imaging practice in the Philadelphia area, according to the Melville, NY, company.

Yepremian, who played for the Miami Dolphins during the team's Super Bowl years in the 1970s, has been serving as a spokesperson for Fonar's Upright MRI scanner at charity golf tournaments around the U.S. The Pennsylvania sale is the second attributed to Yepremian's efforts, according to Fonar.
