Intravascular MRI developer TopSpin Medical of Lod, Israel, has successfully completed its initial public offering on the Tel Aviv stock exchange in Israel, raising $8 million, according to the firm.
The company is developing the capability to perform local MRI with no external magnets, and reported that it has successfully completed its First in Man (FIM) clinical trial recently in four clinical sites in Europe. TopSpin said it plans to extend its clinical trial into the U.S. and expects it to be completed by mid-2006.
