Mednovus will exhibit its line of ferromagnetic detection systems that enhance patient safety by alerting healthcare providers to metal objects on patients before they enter the MRI magnet.
Mednovus' dedicated business unit, Safescan Imaging Systems, is developing pre-MRI screening devices. The company's products include Safescan Target MR Scanner and the Safescan series of pass-through portals. Safescan Target MR Scanner began shipping this week.
The Leucadia, CA, vendor is also developing Safescan 880i, an eye screening system.
