Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Confirma of Bellevue, WA, unveiled its latest product, CADstream for prostate MRI, at this week's RSNA 2007 meeting in Chicago.
CADstream for prostate MRI offers tools for improved quality, standardization, and efficiency for prostate MRI analysis and reporting, according to Confirma. The system includes image registration, alignment between contrast series and T2 images, and uptake and washout maps. It is also designed to create multiplanar reformats (MPRs), subtractions, maximum intensity projections (MIPs), and prostate-specific reports, the company said.
In addition, Confirma is highlighting its new Access Breast Coil, designed to offer flexibility during interventional procedures with both lateral and medial access, as well as enhance patient comfort with memory foam and customized positioning accessories. The company is also showcasing its next generation of CADstream for breast MRI, which includes a customizable BI-RADS-centric user interface. Additional enhancements include therapeutic monitoring capabilities, improved 3D renderings, and morphology reporting tools, according to Confirma.
