Fonar sells first Upright scanner in Canada

MRI vendor Fonar of Melville, NY, announced that it has made its first sale of an Upright Multi-Position MRI scanner in Canada.

The Welcome Back Clinic will install the device in the province of British Columbia in 2008, allowing patients to be imaged in the position in which they have pain, Fonar said.
