GE Healthcare is working with medical personnel at the Olympics to advance the use of imaging technologies for athletes and the public in Beijing.
The Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., vendor will supply technologies including MRI, ultrasound, and electrocardiogram (ECG) equipment to the Olympic Village General Hospital and more than 10,500 athletes from more than 200 countries.
GE will offer 308 Mac 1200 ECGs for use at Olympic venue sites and will equip the hospital with five ultrasound systems and two MRI units.
