Revenues from Fonar's diagnostic imaging center management business powered the MRI vendor's gains in revenue and net income in its second quarter of fiscal year 2012 (end-December 31).
Revenues in the second quarter increased 16% to $9.3 million, compared with $8 million in the second quarter of the previous fiscal year. The company's net income rose 33% to $1.8 million, compared with $1.4 million in last year's second quarter.
For the six-month period, revenues climbed 13% to $18.9 million, compared with $16.7 million in the same period last year. Net income more than doubled to $3.6 million, compared with $1.7 million in the same period last year.
