GE launches 2 new MR scanners

GE Healthcare has debuted its Optima MR360 Advance and Brivo MR355 Inspire 1.5-tesla scanners following receipt of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance.

Optima MR360 Advance includes a newly designed Express suite of coils with 16-channel head and neck array, anterior array, and flex coils. It is available with a portfolio of 18 new clinical applications and features OpTix RF, which offers analog-to-digital signal inside the scan room to minimize noise and signal degradation, according to GE.

Brivo MR355 Inspire also features OpTix RF as well as GE's Ready Interface, which streamlines workflow by offering simplified control of the scan parameters, GE said.
