Image analysis software firm Diagnosoft has won a contract with a Washington hospital for its harmonic phase (HARP) MRI technology for cardiac assessment.
Seattle Children's Hospital will use HARP to assess pediatric patients with heart disease, defects, and failure, according to the firm.
HARP analyzes MRI images of the heart, "tagging" the heart and surrounding tissues with a special pattern so that users can measure its movements, regional function, and ventricular torsion, Diagnosoft said.
