Continuing an upward trend, MRI vendor Fonar posted strong results for the second quarter of its 2014 fiscal year (end-December 31).
For the quarter, net revenue increased 83% to $17.6 million, compared with $9.6 million in the same quarter a year ago, Fonar said. At the same time, net income rose by 88% to $3 million, compared with $1.6 million in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Revenue from patient fees and management was particularly strong, rising 149% to $14.3 million for the quarter, compared with $5.7 million for the same period in fiscal 2013.
