Radiation oncology firm Elekta is showcasing zero helium boil-off technology for its Neuromag Triux magnetoencephalography (MEG) system at this week's American Epilepsy Society meeting in Seattle.
The work-in-progress helium recycling technology nearly eliminates the need for liquid helium refills, potentially saving more than 1,300 gallons of liquid helium each year on a single system, according to the vendor.
