Medical device company Stimwave Technologies said it has implanted the first U.S. patients with its MRI-compatible Freedom stimulator for treating chronic back and leg pain.
Dr. Sunil Panchal, of the National Institute of Pain in Tampa, FL, implanted the first U.S. patients with the device, which can be imaged with 3-tesla full-body MRI, according to Stimwave.
