Philips installs 250th Ambient Experience Connect

Royal Philips, the parent company of Philips Healthcare, has announced the 250th installation of its Ambient Experience in-bore Connect. The most recent installation was at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody, MA.

The technology offers patients a personalized multimedia experience as they enter the bore of the MR scanner. It includes themed video images and audio that patients can select, according to the firm.
